Photo of the Week

A few weeks ago I posted a couple of photos showing the new Gatun Spillway bridge being constructed. Since then CZ Images contributor Lew Stabler took a ride by to snap some closer and on the ground photos. The top two photo show what remains of the old Tarpon Club. Not much to show for it now and pretty run down. It looks like the roof is colapsing in the next photo down. I remember that portion of the building had a pro shop where you could purchase some top notch fishing gear. I bought most of my poles and reels there and still have most of them.

The photo at the bottom shows the new bridge under construction.

Long live the memories of what was and not what is today.
