Photo of the Week

We have another photo taken recently by Art Mokray in Panama while taking photos along Balboa Road. Here is a great photo of the old Scottish Rite Temple that was built between October 1928 and November 1929. This building and the Canal Zone Credit building shown last week were some of the very few "privately" built and owned buildings in the Canal Zone. Today the grand old building is the Teatro Inida for the Performing Arts. I never was in this building, but it must have had an auditorium / theater inside or the new owners gutted part of the building to build a stage and audience seating from what I have seen on the Internet.
