Photo of the Week

I attended a Panama Canal Society meeting at the University of Florida yesterday and there were some calendars made by Ed Armbruster being given out and I was fortunate to grab one with this fantastic old photo. I am not sure what year this was, but by the looks of the cars, 1970ish. The photo looks like it was taken in the evening after a good old rainy season downpour and the Balboa Theater is all lit up for the night's movie. The old cheva brings back great memories as all the subject matter in this photo. I wish it was still like this today.
