Photo of the Week

Two weeks ago I posted a photo of Christmas decorations in front of the Gamboa home with two old Miraflores Locks bollards on each side of the sidewalk. Well, I was looking around in my digital photo files and found these two great images at the Miraflores Locks that show the original home of these old bollards. As you can see, the bollards line up along the center wall in these two images. These two images are almost taken from the same spot but many years apart. The old colorized post card of 1920's vintage has no idea a bridge will be built across the locks in the 1940's above. Two great shots.
