After posting the Cucaracha Slide presentation last week, I was at a flea market the next day and what did I find? Here is an old colorized post card of the ship S.S. Missourian passing by the Cucaracha Slide almost a year later than last week's photos. This transit is just days after the historic transit of the S.S. Ancon hence the S.S. Missourian is one of the first vessels not owned by the Panama Railroad or Canal Commission to transit. What an interesting find and what a coincidence. I have hundreds of old postcards and this is the first time I have seen this one.
