The last of the old Panama Railroad's Air-Conditioned passenger cars go under the cutting torch in Gamboa recently.  This photo and three others were taken by Bill Wilbur, Pastor of the Gamboa Union Church and author of the recently released book "Finding Freedom In Panama".  These old passenger cars have sat behind Bill's house for a long time and have now been cut up and removed on the spot.  After all, there are no more tracks to roll them back to Balboa.  These particular cars were renovated in the mid '90s to make tourist runs to Summit Gardens.  Some how they ended up in Gamboa prior to removal of tracks.  In the distance you can see the crane "Hercules" and crane "Titan".  See other photos by clicking the links below.
