Photo of the Week

Okay folks....it doesn't get any better than this. "Christmas in July" courtesy of the Crane Hercules and Dredging Division. This is a old photo that was sent to me by Marie Gibson to post here on the "Photo of the Week". I just couldn't wait until Christmas to post it, so here it is in July!! This is actually a photo that was on a Christmas card. Marie told me that her husband and his men made this in the Aids to Navigation Shop at Dredging Division. It was a very large board with a lighted poinsettia with approximately 5,000 red, white, and green lights. Another wonderful piece of our Canal Zone history!! Thanks for sharing it with us Marie...
