The Diablo Club House in the early 1940's.  You might say, that it was a fairly new building still.  I found this photo interesting with regards to the large hill to the left of the building.  This hill was later removed to make way for housing.  The water tanks on top of the hill in the background are visible.  Los Rios would later be constructed at the base of the water "Tank" hill.  This is a wonderful old photo that I obtained within a I.L. Maduro, Jr. photo booklet.  This was the Diablo Club House in it's glory days.  The old flag pole pedestal that I passed by for many years is in use in this photo and flying the "Stars and Stripes".
