Here is a interesting photo that I picked up recently.  This was the main gate at Fort Amador.  The photo is of 1930's vintage.   What I found most interesting about  this photo was the square stone column on the left of the photo at road side and the one by the guard shack.  If the photo was wider, there would be one on the right side of the road that turns right.  The column by the guard shack was removed when the guard shack was torn down years ago, but the columns on both sides of the road remained.  The columns were there up until I left in '96.  I always wondered what and when they were from.  I am sure you causeway cruisers remember seeing them.  Note the very large coast artillery projectiles on each side of the guard shack.
