Photo of the old sunken Panama Canal Tug "Gorgona".  I don't know what year the accident happened, but a ship hit the tug while in transit near the northeast wing wall of Pedro Miguel Locks.   The Captain was Jack Waters and the Engineer was Jim Hudgins. The tug was raised and put in this location. The Miraflores Water Filtration Plant is on the hill above.  This image is from a slide I took in the early '80s from the boom of the Crane Hercules.
