Cocoli today. Note the drive with circle in the center of photo. This is where the Elementary School once stood. The pile of rubble that you see just left of the drive is where the gym was. These buildings have been down for some time now. The first job I had with the Canal Zone Schools was in the basement of that gym assembling new school desks. Note the center, right edge of the photo is the parking lot of the old Club House, which was torn down many years ago as well. Note the edge of the Valasquez dump at the top of the photo. This is where the Dredge Mindi pumps her waste that is sucked out of the Canal channel.
