May 1998 Museum Guests
This site is very well done. I was really pleased to view the photos--saw my house a couple of times---wow, homesick now! Good memories brought back to my life--thank you.
Bill, your site is a "must see" for anyone. The detailed captioning with your photos brings new life to places and things that tend to get fuzzy in the memory. I was impressed with the excellent photo coverage of the '98 cayuco race; you see I was fortunate to be amongst the returning BEJUCO crew of 1966 paddling the elegant SNAFU. We bettered our time from 1966 by two minutes. I was proud to be paddleing alongside the Tsumami with Connie, Judy, Laurel and Malena. These women know how to mix fun with their mission. Their success adds to those little stories that happen with every cayuco race and every crew. Thanks ladies for the good company. Jan and Mike Weade was one of those points of light that the BEJUCO crew (Fred Garcia, Bob Donley, Marshall Harris, and Bob Hughes)of the SNAFU are eternally indebted. I will come back to this site often. Thanks alot for making the memories come to life in pictures.
This CZ stuff just keeps getting better and better. We really did have great place to work and live in. Too bad they had to give it away.
Bill:
Love all of your work. Even though I am still here, many of your displays remind me of times past. Thanks, Kathie

Thanks for having these pages.... I have visited a couple of times and enjoy looking at the old photos from the Zone.
It will never be the same, but at least we can still visit via cyber space!
Thanks Again!
