Really appreciate your efforts to "keep us together"......both "on line" as well as "In Spirit"...this and the other websites certainly make this North Country at least tolerable....especially when the water starts frreezing in the lakes to 3 ft. thick! Oh how I have missed the Canal Zone, and the other Gringos simply 'jess don' get how it can be painin' me'.....Thanks for the memories!!!

Great work Bill, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed all the pictures especially of LaBoca and the Thatcher Bridge, the trees have really grown, the houses can't be seen. I will be checking out your page often.

Just finished going through your "photo of the week" collection. What a pleasure. Number 7, showing Balboa Union Church, had a picture a the house we lived in on Carr St. What wonderful memories. Thanks!

It is done, just like Jesus Christ's crucifiction the Canal Zone is no more, and the worst problem is that no one benefited from the Canal Zone being turned over to Panama. The working class of Panamanian Grass cutters, on up to those that went thru the apprentiship program and later became tradespeople
