My Bio:
After graduation in "70" I attended
college for two years majoring in Business/ Accounting. I returned to Panama in
"73", married in 1974 to Pete Franquet "SCN's RADIO &
Television Host" from the Morning Show and QUE PASA". I left in
January "75" for Great Falls, Montana to Pete's new assignment with
the Strategic Missile Wing at Malmstrom AFB. From there we went San Antonio,
Texas, where I have been for the last 24 years. I worked for an old computer
company called Datapoint for 12 years as a Financial Analyst . I am now with
Southwest Research Institute, a Research & Development Facility, and
have been here for the last 12 years as the only Senior Collection Specialist,
better known as a "BILL COLLECTOR." Pete and I divorced and I
remarried for the time being. My only daughter, Wendy Ann will be 30 years old
in March, I have three grandkids, Jonathan 11, Tiffany 9 and Jakob 1
yr old. And I am going to be "49" In January???????? Can you
believe how time flies and I still feel like High School was only
yesterday!!!!
Although I was not able to attend the 30th, I will be at the 35th no doubt. I do
keep in touch with the Canal Zone by participating on the Texas Hill Country
Zonian Xmas Party Reunion Committee. That was until San Antonio gave it
back to Kerrville after 5 years of organizing. We always had about 200 to 250
Zonians that got together here at Xmas. Always good to see old friends,
acquaintances and reminiscence. Now with this WEBSITE there is no excuse for any
of us not to stay in touch with and hear from old friends. I know that
I've missed out on a lot over the many many years gone by but now I am
here to stay.
