BHS Class of  '70 - Notices and Announcements

 

30th Class Reunion Class of '70 - 30th Reunion plans are in the works.  Contact Vicki, Jacque, Laurie or I the for the details. Reunion will be held on July 6, 2000 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel in conjunction with the 2000 Panama Canal Society Reunion. More information will be sent to all alumni that we have email and addresses for in the near future.

 

Notice:  Hey all you Class of 70 Alumni.  I am working on the Class of 70 Mailing Address Data Base.   I need your current mailing addresses.  If you don't want to put it on the Guest Book, please email it directly to me.  This is important!  We are starting to organize the Class of 70's 30th Reunion and these address are crucial.  We want to get that info out to all.  If you know anyone that isn't on the computer, please get their address and send it to me or have them snail mail it.  Thanks for your help.   BillMac

 

Panama Canal Society Foundation - Museum Project:  Okay gang, we and all other Canal Zone High Schools have been challenged by the the BHS Class of  1955 to beat their donation to the newly founded Panama Canal Museum.  They have made a donation of $100.00, lets see if we can beat them!!  It would be really great if we could present them a check.  The Panama Canal Museum is probably one of the most important projects since the creation of the Panama Canal Society.  This Museum will be all that is left of our Canal Zone.  I for one am going to be donating the bulk of my collection to it.  Right now though, they need funds to get it going.  I have $20.00 right here ready to go and would like to add more to this envelope.  If you are interested or want to know about the Panama Canal Museum, please email me so I can give you the details.  All donations received will be donated in the name of the Class of 1970.  I will post a list of all alumni that donated (unless you prefer to be anonymous) here on the home page.  I will also include all those names with the donation to the Panama Canal Museum.  Thanks

 

A second 1998 Blue Ribbon - Thank You Award from the BHS Class of 1970. Okay folks....Orlando Filos has donated another $250.00 to the Panama Canal Society Foundation - Museum Project!!!  Wow..this is above and beyond the call of duty.  Many thanks  Orlando for your generous donation.  Orlando has now donated $500.00.  The Class of 70 is now in the lead over other classes by $250.00.

 

Another 1998 Blue Ribbon - Thank You Award for the BHS Class of 1970. Okay folks....The BHS Class of 1970 is in the lead with donations to the Panama Canal Society Foundation!!  One person put us in the lead.   Orlando Filos donated $250.00!!!  Wow..this is great!  Many thanks to Orlando for your generous donation.
