Pay car during construction days in Colon.  This method of paying was still used in the 1940's, when on payday, the car would be parked on a siding in Colon between 13th and 14th streets.  Gold employees were paid on one end, Silver on the other.  The houses in the background are in Colon, across Bolivar Avenue.  This photo was provided by Andrew Fraser.
