USS Teal at dock in Coco Solo.  The Teal built in 1918 was originally a minesweeper. The Teal was later modified for service as an auxiliary aircraft tender.  In the mid-1930's the Teal's home port was Coco Solo, whence she operated with Patrol Wing (PatWing) 4. Teal was redesignated a small seaplane tender.
