In conjunction with the badges presented by the Canal Zone Schools Pools, the Canal Zone Chapter of the Red Cross also awarded the swimmer with one of their badges and a card. These badges ceased to exist many years ago and the Red Cross started using the American Red Cross's standard issue badges.
