This looks to me like a  view of problems at Cucaracha.  This hill on the right looks like a very young Gold Hill.  Looks like a big rain has occurred as the base line of the Cut digging is flooded. Cucaracha has been a problem for the Canal since day one.   Very unstable ground.  I have searched this area extensively looking for old bottles and artifacts through the years.  My buddy and I found a couple of very nice bottle dumps here.  I dug 15 "Dog Bottles" out of one hole.  You can really feel the ghosts of days gone by while being in this area.
