These old buildings must be many decades old.  There were many built right out over the water.  You could look down onto the reef that these buildings stand on and see old bottles, old clay smoking pipes and other artifacts from years gone by.  Out of all the clay pipes I have dug in bottle dumps, I have never found a whole one.  I was lucky and got a couple whole ones here in the water.
