Excellent home page-discovered it while surfing around looking for something else! Keep it touch Vickie-if fun or business brings you to DC-give me a call, I'll put together a mini-reunion with Jose Rodriguez, Mel Gamerstfelder and myself. Looking forward to Panama in 05. Stephen K.
Greetings, I was visiting the BHS Class of '70 home page and noticed my email address was getting kicked back. The one posted is my work email and last year they dropped the word "mail" from the already lengthy address. So, it is correctly listed in the index, but when you click on it to send me a message, the word "mail" still appears before the letters acps. Hence the reason :-) I've touched base with Bill in hopes it will be corrected. You can also use my home email - cktirpak@att.net. Speaking of home, the above address and phone number are new as well. I am thrilled about the 2005 reunion in Panama and am already making my plans -- have had to miss all the others so far but not this one!! I have been wanting to get back to Panama and relish in the memories of some of the best years of my life. Not to say life is not grand now, but there was nothing like the Canal Zone "experience". Christine (Chris, Chrissie)
bill it's great keep up the good work. new e-mail address by the way
Bill, just wanted to give you my new e-mail address: kaojwo@bellsouth.net. The reunion in Panama sounds great. Keep up your good work and effort in maintaining this site. I really appreciate it. Jenny
I've decided to go to the 35th year reunion. Looking forward to the homecoming. See yall there.
Hi. Sorry I let my email lapse on our website. twesley@elp.rr.com. Please email Susan (skwesley@elp.rr.com) and tell her she and I MUST go to the Panama thing in 2005. I'm in charge...but....you know the deal. :) Miss you all. Thomas
I still go to the CZIMAGES site every week to see the pic of the week, and when I'm bored or just want to see some sunshine I go to see the ships going thru the locks on the home page cam. Thanks Bill for maintaining this site. Note a new, updated e-mail address and road address, did not move, just new 911 changes and changed internet server. Joanne
We are getting very positive response to our class reunion in Panama! Maria (Gonzales) Kaylor wrote that she has a Bed & Breakfast in Bocas Del Torro if anyone wants to head up that way. Email her at: lulabocas@msn.com
I love the site. It sure brought back memories of all my years in Panama and memories of friends from BHS and beyond! Getting ready to retire soon, and guess where we are looking......
I have had a great time reading all the info. The amount of time and work you've put into the Home Page is mind-boggling! Thank you for all the work!

I love it..I was just searching the first time I had thought of it. I went to Balboa from 1971-73, before that Curundu Junior High. Thanks for the memories of the school. Robin
We are getting great response to our trip to Panama for our 35th reunion. Rooms are limited so if you plan to go you may want to get your deposit($100.00) in early. You can email Lori Snow for the deposit form at: panamalori@condoroutfitters.com
We have received an email from Dora Gonzalez Ruiz who is the Director of Sales for property in Coronado. She has offered her assistance for any of our classmates who may be interested in buying or renting property in Coronado. You can reach her at: dora@coronadoesvida.com or at #507-223-3175. (To call Panama you must first dial 011). Their web page is: wwww.coronadoesvida.com
You guys have a FANTASTIC website! Can you e-mail me who and how and how much it costs to do this? The Class of 69 is clueless!!
Hi folks, it has been a long time since I have visited the home page. Bill you are still doing wonders. Thanks!! I have been deployed he past 14 months. I spent last year in Afghanistan (Bagram AB) and this year I have been in Al Taqaddum AB (15 miles west of Fallujah), Iraq supporting our war fighters. Sure wish we had some deployments to Panama.... I want to wish everyone good times and long life. God bless ya'll.
Still think you are doing a great job. Looking forward to the 2005 reunion.
omg the page is fine but i happened to stumble upon it as i wanted to do a little research on my high school that i am currently in (yep believe it or not, it's balboa high!) only to find another high school with the same exact name but in a different country. at first i thought that the pics were of the old balboa high here in san francisco, usa but then i read some descriptions and whoa...PANAMA???
We are getting ready to move to our new duty station at Ft. Bragg, NC. Neither of us has ever lived in NC so this will be an adventure. I'll be looking for a job (hospital admin) if anyone has a connection please help me out.
RECENTLY I MOVED TO THE ORLANDO, FL AREA FROM DENVER AND AM THOROUGHLY ENJOYING THE CHANGE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HURRICANE CHARLIE PASSING THROUGH. I DECIDED TO "RETIRE" , BUT WHO KNOWS HOW LONG I'LL BE ABLE TO STAND THE LEISURE PACE. AT LEAST I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE SEVERAL PANAZONIAN FRIENDS, I.E. VICKY SIZEMORE, ED WARDLOW, FRED BREMER, RUPERT TURNER, DEBBIE BEALL, JOEY BURGOON, JOHN AND MICK HARRIS, JIM MCNAMARA TO NAME A FEW. OUR CLASSMATE, LARRY HELE JUST RETURNED FROM A COSTA RICA AND PANAMA TRIP AFTER 35 YEARS AND APPARENTLY HAD THE TIME OF HIS LIFE. LARRY VISITED HIS FATHER'S GRAVE SITE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND SAID THE COROZAL CEMETERY IS VERY BEAUTIFUL. I WOULD ASK THE ENTIRE 1970 CLASS TO SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THE 35TH REUNION. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE AS MANY FOLKS AS POSSIBLE. SEND IN YOUR DEPOSIT! BEST REGARDS TO ONE AND ALL.
Great home page. And what a deal for your 35th class reunion! It includes Miami-Panama airfare AND lodging AND all the activities are being arranged, too? UNBELIEVABLE! I don't see how anyone can pass that up. You guys are gonna have a great class reunion. Lucky dogs.
I spent 3 years in the CZ and really enjoyed every min. I have been looking for a friend that I met while she worked at the CZ Pool, she had graduated from HS, but was going to CZ Jr. College. Her name is Jan E. Farnsworth-Thompson any information or contact would be great.
We are making our way through our third hurricane. We have been without power for more than 10 days in the last 2 months. You have no idea how much electricity means till you have to live without it. I have now thrown out all the contents of our refrigerator 3 times and refuse to buy groceries again for more than 2 days until hurricane season is over. Thanks to our dear friend Faye we do have a generator to provide some relief. (She shipped it from Texas-there were none available after our second hurricane) Anyway, I did want to remind everyone that has intentions of attending the class reunion in Panama that they need to contact Lori Snow with their deposit ASAP. October is the deadline for sending in the deposit. Contact info for Lori can be found at the beginning of this web page.
I am still looking around, but I am hoping to find some photos of people and places I might have known when I was in the army there in 1969-1970.
Looks great, please add my Email address to the list. Thanks, June BHS class of 70
Great site, Bill. For anyone going to our class reunion in Panama who would like to stay in Panama additional days, my brother has a timeshare in Quarry Heights with 4 bedroom units for rent (sleep 10), as well as studio apartments that sleep 4. You can check out his website at www.panamavacationquarters.com . These can also be rented at other times of the year, of course. Feel free to email me for more information. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our 35th in Panama!
Hey Bill, You're still doing a wonderful job! Just wanted to update my email address and say hi to everyone. Rik
